Lincoln Electric® Excalibur® Stainless Steel Stick Electrode measuring 3/32" X 12" welds various types of austenitic steels. Electrode suitable for all welding positions except vertical down has flux coating that renders smoother arc transfer and a self-peeling slag for easy removal. Electrode has low carbon levels to eliminate carbide precipitation at high temperature services. It is ideal for joining stainless steel to mild or low alloy steel. Electrode has Q2 Lot® certification that shows actual deposit chemistry and calculated ferrite number available online. It is associated with E309-16/E309L-16 AWS classification and conforms to ASME SFA-A5.4 as well as CWB/CSA W48-06 standards. It comes in a 8 lb hermetically sealed easy open can and should be used in accordance with MSDS.
